Two people have been charged with driving while under suspension following a citizen report of suspicious activity in Prince Edward County.
OPP say on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. a number of calls were received regarding a suspicious person and vehicle in the area of Spencer Road, north of the village of Ameliasburg.
Witnesses reported a person running through a field with a stick and acting intoxicated. A vehicle in the area was followed to Park View Road.
The suspect vehicle was located on Loyalist Parkway at a nearby gas station.
Bradley Paul Douglas, 21, of Corbyville is facing charges of driving with no licence and driving while under suspension.
Lindsay Anne Montgomery, 35, of Colborne, is facing charges of careless driving and driving while under suspension.
Both will appear in Picton court in November.
An investigation is continuing to identify the person who was running through the field.
Police ask the public to continue to report any suspicious people or activity.
