UPDATE @ 10:11 A.M.: Northumberland OPP have charged the driver of a tractor trailer that rolled over this morning with careless driving.
Police responded around 4:10 a.m. this morning (October 11) to the eastbound 401 near Brighton where a transport had left the roadway and rolled into the south ditch.

A tractor trailer rolled onto its side on Highway 401 east near Brighton early this morning (Friday).
The transport was carrying a load of paper towels.
The driver suffered a possible broken arm.
The 401 east is not closed to traffic as the truck is well off the highway.
The accident happened shortly after 4 o’clock this morning.
