A tractor trailer fire has led to the closure of Highway 401 east at Kingston.
The incident occurred before 3 o’clock this morning (Thursday).
The tractor trailer, which was carrying clothing and mattresses, was destroyed in the fire.
No one was injured but there was a large diesel fuel spill and the ministries of Transportation and Environment are involved along with the OPP and Kingston Fire Department.
The 401 east in the Kingston area will be closed for several hours.
