A big infrastructure job has been completed in urban Stirling-Rawdon.
Over the past seven or so weeks a new lining and other repairs were done to the village’s water tower.
That work was completed a few days ago at a cost of around $500,000.
Meanwhile Stirling-Rawdon council has passed a formal policy in an effort to protect trees on municipal property.
Under the policy, trees will only be trimmed to keep them healthy or if they become a safety hazard and any trees that are cut down will be replaced by others being planted.
