Last Friday around 11:00 p.m. officers from the Quinte West OPP and Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services responded to a fight call on Frederick Street in the City of Quinte West.
An investigation lead to 40-year-old Quinte West native Darryl Croft being arrested and charged with aggravated assault and being intoxicated in a public place.
Croft was scheduled to attend a bail hearing on September 28 in Belleville
The victim was taken to the hospital in an ambulance with serious injuries.
