Arrested on Warrants
On October 3, 2019, an off duty officer observed a male on North Front St. that he knew had warrants for his arrest. Officers arrived in the area and after a short foot pursuit arrested the male. Paul Laroche-Davidson a 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested on warrants for two counts of breach of probation, theft under $5000, and break and enter. He has a bail hearing on October 4, 2019.
Dog Found, looking for owner
In early morning hours of October 4, 2019, officers were patrolling the area of Moira Street when they found a stray dog. The dog is a white husky mix. Police were unable to locate an owner, so the dog was brought to the station and later to the Humane Society. If this sounds like your dog, please contact the Quinte Humane Society.
