The best fall festival around the Quinte region is still the best. Back in 1975 Brighton Applefest was a small sidewalk sale/farm market type event.
But over four decades the very modest event has grown exponentially. For the past many years Applefest has attracted 20,000 to 30,000 people on the last weekend of September.
But it hasn’t lost its country charm and it’s become a boutique shoppers dream.
