The Trenton Golden Hawks improved to 5-1 last night on the season with a 6-1 home victory over the Cobourg Cougars.
The Hawks spread out the scoring in the win.
Dalton Bancroft, Jared Gerger and Stefan Dobrich all tallied a goal and an assist while Griffen Fox netted two and Cameron Gaylor scored the other.
Captain Samuel Duchesne and forward Matt Nastasiuk each had two assists for the Hawks,
Oliver Troop picked up the win in goal making 23 saves on 24 shots.
The Golden Hawks will now welcome in the Wellington Dukes on Sunday for the battle of Quinte with first place in the division on the line.
