The Belleville Police Service responded to 66 calls for service between September 16, 2019 at 5 a.m. and September 17, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Arrested on Warrants
On September 16, 2019 at 4:45 p.m., police arrested a 26-year-old Belleville male, Aaron Woods, who was familiar to them and wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where the warrant was executed for Theft Under $5000, Fraud Under $5000 x2 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Woods was released on a Promise to Appear and given a court date of the October 10, 2019 to face the charges.
On September 16, 2019 at 8:45 p.m., police observed a 24-year-old Belleville male who was known to them and was wanted on an outstanding warrant in the area of Bridge Street and Pinnacle Street. The male, Adam Dunn, was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service where the warrant was executed for Breach of Probation. Adam Dunn was released on a Promise to Appear and given a court date October 210, 019 to face the charges.
On the September 16, 2019 at 9:50 p.m., police attended the area of Cannifton Road and executed two warrants on a 31-year-old Belleville male, Logan Haddock who was wanted for Theft Under $5000, Break & Enter, Assault, Mischief and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking x2. Upon arrest he was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held, awaiting a bail hearing on September 17, 2019.
On tSeptember 16, 2019 at 2:59 p.m., police responded to the area of Bell Blvd and Cannifton Road regarding a three vehicle collision. There was substantial vehicle damage and only minor injuries reported. The at-fault driver was charged with “turn not in safety” under the Highway Traffic Act.
