Kawartha-Pine Ridge elementary school teachers could take a strike vote later this month.
A bulletin sent to teachers by the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario local says that would happen if the board doesn’t provide answers to questions about contract language, specifically the use of a professional activity day for teachers to complete report cards.
Board chairperson Diane Lloyd wouldn’t comment on the status of negotiations, but says the board is looking to schedule further talks before the April 24th provincial deadline to reach an agreement.
