The Wellington Dukes kicked off the OJHL season on the right foot last night with a 6-5 victory over the Brampton Admirals.
The Dukes jumped out to an early 4-0 lead at the Duke Dome and managed to hold on to collect the two points.
Ben Addison, Landon McLellan, Ben Evans, Dylan Massie, Frank Vitucci and Evan Miller all scored for Wellington, while goaltender Matthew Keeley picked up the win in net making 33 saves on 38 shots.
The Dukes next game will be on the road tomorrow against the Milton Menace. Puck drop is set for 3:30 p.m.
