OPP were called to Link and Lakeside roads, near Carnrike Road around 10:20 p.m., where they found a vehicle in the ditch.
An investigation found that two cars had been racing each other and one of the drivers lost control and crashed.
The driver in question was given a roadside breath test and taken to the detachment, where he was charged with impaired driving, refusing a breath sample and failing to report an accident.

He also had his licence suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for a week.
