Now that the loan is paid off…the Brighton Health Services Centre is planning to create a Community Health Grant Program. Chair Brian Todd says they plan to contribute financial support to existing community based agencies focussed on health services. Todd says there not sure of the amount they can contribute this year but will recieve requests up until June 30th. Last year the BHSC provided a 10-thousand dollar grant to the Brighton YMCA…one of the tenants of the BHSC building.
