Construction in Prince Edward County surpassed the $10 million mark last month.
This is down from $16.4 million for the month of July.
There were 98 permits issued for the month of August, bringing construction in the municipality to over $82 million for the year.
New homes were the big ticket item at a value of $7.2 million.
