It’s a deal….and, another hurdle crossed in the effort to get harness racing running again again in Belleville. The National Capital Harness Horse Association ratified a tentative agreement with Baymount Incorporated in Napanee last night by a recorded vote of 58-2. Executive Director of the Horsemen Association Russ Moulton is confident the proposed development for Bell Boulevard will be built in time for the 2010 racing season and adds his drivers are looking forward to racing Belleville. Moulton says they’ll be racing at the old Quinte Exhibition Raceway on Bridge Street West later this summer and then move onto the new track for the 2010 race season.
