Shortly before 1:30 p.m. on August 25, 2019 members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Bancroft Fire Department and Hastings County Paramedics responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 62 South of L’Amable.
As a result of the collision five people suffered injuries. One passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a Kingston area hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing by Bancroft OPP members with the assistance of an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and Collision Reconstructionist.
