A Brighton woman is facing trafficking charges according to police.
On Thursday, just before midnight, officers with the Peterborough/Northumberland detachments Community Street Crime Units made an arrest in connection to the sale of illicit drugs in Brighton.
Officers seized approximately eight grams of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
Nicole Lyn Swan, 45, of Brighton is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
She will appear in Cobourg court on September 18.
