Labour Day weekend is next weekend and that means it will be time for the Quinte Exhibition, more commonly known as the Belleville Fair.
This will be the 198th year the event has been put on by the Belleville Agricultural Society.
The midway will open Thursday, August 29 at 4 p.m. Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy the rides starting at noon.
The gates and display buildings will open at noon Thursday and at 10 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The exhibition will feature entertainment each evening and the popular demolition derby will return for two shows, one on Friday and the other on Sunday.
Seniors get in free Friday from opening until 4 p.m.
Advance ride coupons can be purchased until August 28 at the following locations: The Belleville Agricultural Society office under the grandstand at the fairgrounds, Dewe’s Independent Grocer, Staples, and Thrasher’s Garden Centre.
They can also be purchased online.
