Another research project may be in the works for the Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services.
The application is to join work that has been started using the drone and the artificial intelligence projects recently carried out by the paramedics.
The project would be in partnership with Defence Research Development Canada with Interdev Technologies.
The new research would be looking at vulnerable populations and how to support them in times of emergencies.
Chief of Paramedic Services Doug Socha.
The Emergency Services Committee is recommending to Hastings County Council that the application be made.
The process is open for applications into September and no decision is expected until next year.
