A Quebec man has been arrested after a motorcycle rider was assaulted on the weekend.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a gas station parking lot on Community Road in Napanee, just after 5:00 p.m., where the rider said he had been assaulted by a man driving a car, before he fled the scene.
A description of the suspect vehicle was put out to area OPP detachments and police services, with Leeds County OPP making an arrest near Brockville and transporting the suspect back to this area.
Thirty-five-year-old Martin Trempe of Blainville, Quebec, is charged with assault causing bodily harm, dangerous driving and mischief.
He was held for a bail hearing.
