Police are investigating a theft of some expensive horse-related equipment in Prince Edward County.
Prince Edward OPP were called after someone broke into a barn on Victoria Road in Ameliasburgh, sometime between last Wednesday and Friday.
They took off with a Marten Roper brand saddle, engraved with oak leaves and valued at $4,500 US, along with a girth strap, two generic girths and four saddle pads.
The total value of the stolen goods is about $7,500.
