Quinte West OPP have released more information on an armed robbery at a Trenton apartment building early yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Police say they were called out to the six-plex on Dundas West in the area of Dufferin Avenue at 2:39 in the morning after reports of a violent robbery in one of the units.
Two people were assaulted. At least one of the victims was stabbed. The extent of injuries isn’t known.
Three males fled on foot and OPP officers along with a canine unit searched the area.
Two suspects have been arrested and are in custody. Quinte West OPP are asking the public to help locate the third suspect.
The two in custody face charges of robbery, break and enter, aggravated assault, weapons dangerous, and disguise with intent.
