Belleville Police say they were able to identify a man suspected of multiple charges in a bar fight on North Front Street back on June 22.
The Belleville Police Criminal Investigation Division was able to to arrest the man following a traffic stop yesterday. The 21-year-old Belleville native will face charges of aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm and assault.
The suspect punched a man outside the bar causing him to fall back and hit his head on the ground. The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kingston General Hospital where he spent a considerable amount of time recovering.
The suspect then went on to assault two other men who were injured before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
The man will be held for a bail hearing later today.
