A Toronto man arrested after a couple of incidents involving assaults, attempted robbery, and vandalism in Belleville last January was sentenced to more jail time.
Eric Kruchka, 31, was arrested after a Belleville Transit employee was punched in the face at the downtown terminal after an argument over a bus fare.
He was later arrested but a taser had to be used. He was then released by police.
On another day soon after he was arrested again after an unsuccessful purse snatching on Newberry Street.
The female victim was injured.
Police also suspected Kruchka threw a rock at recycling truck, shattering a window, an hour earlier.
Recently Eric Kruchka was sentenced to 15 days on jail on top of 6 months pre-sentence custody, 12 months probation and a 10 year weapons prohibition.
