Two Prince Edward County businesses were broken into on the long weekend.
On August 2, a business on Picton’s Main Street was broken into overnight. Nothing was stolen but about
$2,500 damage was done to the property.

There was another break and enter overnight on August 3 on County Road 18 in Athol ward.
A safe holding about $1,000 in cash was stolen.
Investigations continue and anyone with information should call Prince Edward County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
