A busy intersection in east-end Belleville is closed for a police investigation after a crash this afternoon.
City police and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics were called to Bridge Street East and MacDonald Avenue around 5:00 p.m, where an SUV and an e-bike were involved in the incident.
Traffic Unit Sergeant Brad Stitt tells Quinte News the rider of the e-bike was taken to hospital, but there was no update on the severity of the injuries.
The intersection is closed and Stitt says it likely will be for a few hours as police investigate, with detours being set up around the scene.
