Prince Edward County OPP laid impaired charges in four separate incidents over the long weekend.
Police were called to Outlet Road by Sandbanks staff for a possible impaired driver on Friday around 1 p.m. Prior to the park warden identifying the driver, he fled on foot into a wooded area.
Jamal Irvin Palacious of Picton was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, obstructing a peace officer and driving while under suspension.
The 27-year-old will appear in Picton court next month.
Later that evening, officers stopped a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit on County Road 3 in Ameliasburgh Township.
The driver registered a warn and was issued a seven day licence suspension as it was his second offence.
On Saturday morning, officers received a traffic complaint about a possible impaired driver in Picton. The male driver was taken to the detachment for tests.
Police were also called to a rollover on Loyalist Parkway east of Wellington on Saturday night.
Paul Anthony Scott, 54, of Prince Edward County and Matthew Alexandre McAnany, 25, of Guelph are facing charges of operation while impaired and operation over 80mgs.
Both will appear in Picton court next month.
