Aircraft from three Royal Canadian Air Force bases, including 8 Wing Trenton, are helping in the search for a missing plane.
The single engine Beechcraft Bonanza is missing after leaving Oshkosh, Wisconsin early this week, en route to Danbury, Connecticut.
The pilot, who is the only person on board, flew north to avoid a thunderstorm and went off the radar in the Val-d’Or Region of Quebec.
424 Squadron has sent a pair of Hercules aircraft and a Griffon helicopter to join in the search, alongside airfcraft from CFB Bagotville in Quebec and CFB Greenwood in Nova Scotia.
