Lennox and Addington OPP officers were able to quickly track down a stolen vehicle this morning.
The stolen pickup truck was reported northbound on County Road 8, north of Highway 33, around 7:20 a.m. and officers located it a short time later on County Road 8, between Little Creek Road and Golf Course Road, a short time later.
Police say the driver pulled over and ran into a field, but they were able to take him into custody.
Forty-seven-year-old Robert Pakul of Greater Napanee is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments, driving while suspended and breaching probation.
He’s scheduled for a bail hearing in Napanee today.
