Stunt Driving
On July 30, 2019 at 10 a.m., an officer using radar on Old Highway 2 clocked at a vehicle travelling 59 km/h over the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped and a 33-year-old male was charged with stunt driving, given a court date in September and had his vehicle held for 7 days.
Bad Trip
On July 30, 2019 at 6:20 p.m., police responded to the west end for a report of a male acting in a bizarre manner in the middle of the street. Police located the 35-year-old male and determined he was suffering from a street drug induced reaction. The male was arrested for his own protection and held in custody until sober.
