More people have come forward identifying themselves as victims in connection with a roofing fraud case in Prince Edward County.
The investigation began when two people reported that they had paid for work on their roofs, but the work had not been started.
OPP Constable Karen German tells Quinte News more victims have come forward with complaints of roofing work that was paid for but never done.
Thirty-seven year-old Michael Crandall of Consecon is charged with two counts of fraud over five thousand dollars.
Constable German is making an appeal to the public for information.
“We want to appeal to the public again to make sure that we’ve covered off all our bases and make sure that they come forward” she says, if they have had a similar situation.
She says anyone who may have been a victim of a similar situation is asked to contact Constable Aaron Miller of Prince Edward OPP.
