A proposal to develop a major resort community on 245-acres with shoreline, in Prince Edward County, is still in the wings. Former M-P-P James Taylor owns the land at Half Moon Point, overlooking Prince Edward Bay. Last summer the plan for 500-homes was put before a special meetng of County council. The resort would include a restaurant, and a 24-acre public waterfront trail. Yesterday the planners for the proponents met with County staff.. Toronto realtor Brad Warren, spokesman for the group, says some decision may be made in the next few months about whether or not to proceed with the project.
