It was a busy weekend at Sandbanks Provincial Park and that trend seems to be continuing into this week.
Assistant Superintendent Agnese Bortolussi says the park is filling up fast again and will likely have to cut off visitors and close temporarily, so if you were planning on heading out there today, you’re better off to wait until after 3:00 p.m.
Bortolussi says it’s an extremely busy day for a Tuesday.
Sandbanks staff had to take similar measures during the weekend with a flock of beach-goers trying to cool off during the recent heatwave.
