Prince Edward County council is looking to update their Corporate Strategic Plan and will be asked to spend some money to facilitate a priority setting exercise.
Council will look at spending $5,000 at their regular meeting tonight at Shire Hall to have Impact and Main, a Toronto based company, lead the way as the County seeks to update the priorities set by the Strategic Plan.
Their website states “We want to maximize the economic prospects of your community and improve your chance of attracting or creating new businesses and jobs. We want to help change the way residents of your community feel about their futures; their collective identity; and ultimately how the world sees your community.”
The $5,650 price tag falls within the budget set and Impact and Main would have the final report available by September, which falls within the County’s timeline.
Council expressed an interest in formalizing its strategic direction for the municipality, and staff proposed a reduced scope facilitated priority setting exercise in order to establish Council’s priorities for the remainder of the term of council.
Council defeated a new corporate strategic plan in April of 2019.
Council meets at 7 p.m. at Shire Hall.
