A heat warning is now in effect for the Quinte region ahead of a heat wave expected to hit the area tomorrow.
Environment Canada says daytime temperatures will sit in the low- to mid-thirties with afternoon humidex values reaching 40 degrees or higher.
Nighttime won’t offer much relief as temperatures will remain in the low to mid 20s.
A weak cold front will move into theĀ area Sunday bringing cooler and less humid air to the region.
