More efficient lighting will be installed at the Tri-Area Medical Centre in Madoc soon.
At a recent meeting Centre Hastings council approved spending almost $26,000 on new LED lighting in the centre.
With senior government incentives included, the cost of the new lighting will total a little over $37,000.
It’s estimated energy usage savings from the lighting will pay the municipality’s capital costs back in just over four years.
