Police have identified a woman killed in one of two major crashes on the eastbound Highway 401 last Friday.
Investigators say seven vehicles, including a transport truck, were involved in the crash between Shannonville and Marysville Roads, around 4:00 p.m.
The driver of one of those vehicles, 29-year-old Elizabeth Morgan of Enterprise was killed in the crash, while three other people sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say charges haven’t been laid since their investigation is still ongoing.
The crash followed another fatal incident further along the 401 early on Friday morning and both incidents left sections of the highway closed for hours.
