Lennox and Addington OPP are continuing to investigate a disturbance that involved a firearm in Tyendinaga Township.
Police were called to a home on Shannon Road just before 8:30 on Thursday night for a report of a person armed with a firearm causing a disturbance.
The Tactics and Rescue, Emergency Response and Canine Units all responded and secured the area.
Officers located the suspect 75 minutes later and determined there was no longer any threat to public safety.
The Crime Unit will continue to investigate and no further information is being released at this time.
