- A 33-year-old Belleville woman involved in a case of spreading false information through social media has issued an apology letter.
Lisa Bark pleaded guilty to a mischief charge earlier this year, after the 2018 incident, where she accused the parents of a child with cancer of fraudulently collecting charitable donations, when that wasn’t the case.
On June 20, Bark was given an absolute discharge with conditions that included a peace bond, a $500 donation to the Kingston Children’s Cancer Center and the apology letter.
