Mother nature is providing some hot and hazy hours ahead.
According to Environment Canada, an air mass has reached the area that will remain in place until Friday afternoon.
The entire region will see highs in the 30 degree range, with a humidex in the high 30s.
There will be some relief near Lake Ontario.
Relief will come in starting Saturday morning, which will help cool things down.
Make sure to stay well hydrated, and check on elderly loved ones through the next 36 to 48 hours.
