Domestic Assault
Belleville, ON – On July 3, 2019, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Belleville Police officers attended a west end residence after receiving a 911 call regarding a domestic assault. The female victim was interviewed and provided grounds for the arrest of her husband. A 26-year-old Belleville man was arrested for domestic assault x 3 and one count of intimidation. The male was held for a bail hearing on the July 4, 2019.
Breach of Probation
Belleville, ON – On July 3, 2019, at approximately 11:59 p.m., police attended an east end residence regarding a female causing a disturbance. Police officers had been called to that same residence regarding the female’s behaviour towards her spouse four times in the preceding 24 hours. After repeated cautions, she was arrested for failing to comply with her probation order. A 39-year-old Belleville woman was charged for failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour x 3 and held for a bail hearing on July 4, 2019.
