Jason Thresher of West Suffield Connecticut has won the inaugural Great Lakes Golf Tour’s Belleville Open at Trillium Wood Golf Course.
Thresher tied the course record of ten under 62 which included a hole-in-one. He finished the 36 hole event at 12 under 132 for a one shot victory. The win was worth $4000.
Jake Scott of Strongsville OH held the lead for most of the day but an untimely three putt bogey on the 35th hole of the tournament, fell one shot behind and couldn’t make birdie at the final hole which made Thresher the Champion.
