A body was pulled out of the mouth of the Trent River early Monday morning.
Quinte West firefighters, OPP and Hastings Quinte EMS paramedics responded to reports of a body floating in the river, in the area of the Trent Port Marina, at 5:30 a.m.
A man was pulled from the river and taken to shore by firefighters, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 6 a.m.
The OPP are investigating.
