On June 28 at 11:36 p.m., police say they conducted a traffic stop on a suspected suspended driver. An investigation revealed that the 51-year-old Belleville male was in fact a suspended driver. He was charged with Driving While Under Suspension and given a court date in July to face the charges.
On June 28 at 2:57 p.m., police say they attended the area of Emily Street near Lingham Street regarding a young male who was struck by a motor vehicle while riding his long board. The male received minor injuries and the vehicle did not remain at the scene. Police are looking for any witnesses that may have observed the make, model and colour of the vehicle or were able to obtain licence plate information.
