The Government of Ontario is delivering on its promise to end hallway health care and build a modern and sustainable health care system for people in Ontario, according to announcement by MPP David Piccini.
This is a new vision for health care in the province that puts the needs of the patient first.
The Ontario government is investing in the front lines of the health care system with $384 million for Ontario’s hospitals.
Northumberland Hills Hospital will receive $1,003,504 in base funding and up to $335,940 in one-time funding from the Provincial Government.
These investments will help ensure that hospitals are able to deliver the patient-centred care Ontario patients deserve, while addressing wait times and ending hallway health care.
$174 million is going into mental health and addiction services, $72 million in building long-term care beds and $267 million in home care and community care funding.
