A crew from CFB Trenton’s 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron came to the rescue of a kiteboarder in distress in the waters of Lake Ontario yesterday (Monday).
The kiteboarder was in difficulty in the lake at Lakeview Beach in Oshawa.
Two Search and Rescue Technicians entered the water and the kiteboarder was hoisted up into a Griffon helicopter and safely rescued.
