424 Transport and Rescue Squadron from 8 Wing Trenton rescued three people and a dog in distress from a remote part of Bon Echo Provincial Park Saturday night.
The crew of the Griffon helicopter were called out shortly before 9 o’clock and the people and their pet were hoisted aboard the chopper and taken to a nearby soccer field for further medical treatment.
The airlift was complete by 1 o’clock yesterday (Sunday) morning.
