Belleville residents can now give their input on a proposed new playground in the east end.
The playground structure was removed from Stanley Park, on Edgehill Road, in 2015 and a plan was put in place to add a new playground last year, with $250,000 approved for the project in the 2019 Capital Budget.
Residents can complete the survey, which you can find by clicking here and give thoughts on what features should be included in the playground, as the design-build process continues.
Currently there are no significant community playgrounds east of Herchimer Avenue and city staff say “this development will enhance the existing park and provide exciting opportunities for youth in the surrounding area”.
You can fill out the survey until June 28, with a public meeting on the project set to be scheduled at a later date.
