Belleville Police have charged a 52-year-old man in connection with a theft last month.
At the end of last month, a woman told police her cell phone and phone-case wallet were taken from her car while she was at work at a North Front Street business.
Investigation revealed that her banking card was used to make purchases at a local convenience store.
With help from the business owner and video surveillance, police identified a suspect.
Dwayne Frederick Redcliffe of Belleville is charged with Theft-under $5,000, Fraud-under $5,000, and Possession of property obtained by crime-under $5,000.
He appears in court next month.
