A 26 year-old Quinte West man appeared in court on Wednesday to face multiple charges according to police.
Quinte West OPP responded on Tuesday night to a suspicious person call in the Bayside area on Old Hwy. 2
The person had fled on foot prior to police arrival but a brief search located the suspect.
Kevin Frederick Rueben Scurry of Quinte West is charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, mischief under$5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
He appeared in court in Belleville on Wednesday.
